ACTION PLAN FEBRUARY 2009   1.   To maintain a written action plan of goals to be achieved. To help us remain focussed on tasks in hand, every member to be given a copy. 2. Continue to encourage representatives of different cultural groups across the city to become involved and attend our meetings. 3. Consult members on their priorities and concerns in local areas to help determine the future direction of SRF. 4. Encourage all local Residents Associations from Housing Associations to be involved for information sharing, support and advice to work with other local groups in their area. 5. Build links with other groups to widen the knowledge of SRF and provide more support for members - e.g. disability groups, art centres and community centres etc. 6. Build relationships with national tenant representative groups - bringing more experience and support to the region. 7. To maintain an easily accessible resource file, which will be reviewed annually. 8. To advertise and promote the Federation via our website, advertise in the local press and free newsletters to encourage membership. 9. Develop a comprehensive an equality and diversity policy document for customers with Gentoo. 10. Tom monitor performance of Gentoo services through links with the customer focus groups. 11. Executive committee to meet regularly focussing on issues to move the Federation forward. 12. To continue representation with Sunderland Community Network. 13. To be aware of current trends, events and situations across the city and to be involved. 14. To liaise with Gentoo and other agencies to promote and increase awareness of training availability.
